Cabaret Moulin Rouge

Established in 1889 to become the palace of the dance and women, the most luxurious, the biggest and the most elegant which existed at this period.

The theater is decorated in the style Belle Epoque with authentic mural paintings, the Moriss columns, original posters of artists who performed on this mythical stage. About a hundred of artists perform twice every evening in the show Féerie, 1000 costumes of feathers, rhinestones and sequins, 800 pairs of hand custom-made shoes, 4 main scenes with sumptuous settings created by Gaetano Castelli and made by Italian artists, the best international and outstanding acts… with an original music registered by 80 musicians and 60 members of a choral.

Several dates in Moulin Rouge : july 1944, Edith Piaf is on the bill with Yves Montand in the first half ; june 1951, the new Moulin Rouge presents the new attraction of the famous French Cancan and then until 1960, Luis Mariano, Charles Trenet, Charles Aznavour, Line Renaud… In 1962, a giant aquarium is installed for the first nautical ballet with topless dancers. In november 1981, the Moulin Rouge performs for her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II in London ; in 1984, Dean Martin and Franck Sinatra Gala ; centenary Gala in 1989 with Ray Charles, Lauren Bacall, Tony Curtis, Ella Fitzgerald, Jerry Lewis … In 2009, The Moulin Rouge celebrates its 120th anniversary and takes part in European days of the Patrimony.

Possibility to have a dinner or not during the show. Rates from 112 Euros by person (only the show) or 175 Euros – dancing dinner with champagne at 7 PM, 6 choices of Menus cooked by the Chef David Le Quellec – Times for the show are 9 or 11 PM. Special rates for the New Year’s Eve and others particular dates.
